Three Abilene meetings have recently made changes. The biggest one, and the one that could leave you at the wrong place, deals with the Wednesday morning 8:00 a.m. meeting. Beginning Wednesday, February 4th, the meeting will discontinue gathering at Mission Abilene and move to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 3150 Vogel Street, Abilene, TX 79603. This is Group Number 47781. The location is far northwest Abilene. Here is a link to the location on Google Maps.
And here is an image of the building.
Two meetings, Sunday morning at Mission Abilene, and Monday noon at Hinds Square have adopted a meeting format involving the use of the Overeaters Anonymous Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions Workbook. Members write answers to questions about the steps from the workshop and share their writings during the meeting.
What are other groups doing? Let us put your news here! Email firstname.lastname@example.org.

More will come soon.
Big Country Intergroup got a new slate of officers at the Intergroup meeting November 15th. Vice-Chair Kitt M became our new Chair, Sharon D moved from Secretary to Vice Chair, Lynne E became our new Secretary, and Wanda S accepted the role of Treasurer. The officers are working hard to make us an even more dynamic group, and they welcome your input and service. Plan to attend the next meeting on February 14, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hinds Square building, 100 Chestnut Street, Suite 112, Abilene. And plan, too, to attend the Intergroup event as we bring a Valentine’s Day event to the folks at the Shades of Hope meeting. That meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Valentine preparation immediately following it.
